Who We Are
Jose Angelo Guerrero helps automotive and technology brands enter markets, build commercial infrastructure, and scale, whether that is a 100-year-old OEM launching its first EV or a startup introducing an entirely new brand to the world.
Jose Angelo's diverse 20+ year career started at BMW of North America, where he launched the company's first US EV pilot programs with the MINI E in 2009 and the BMW Active E in 2011. He went on to lead the US introduction of the groundbreaking BMW i and iPerformance vehicles, spearheading BMW Group's sales push in its top plug-in market and certifying 285 dealerships nationwide for the future of electrification.
Jose Angelo's startup experience began when he joined BYTON in August of 2017 as Managing Director of the Americas, where he built the company's full North American business model from scratch, including retail, aftersales, financial services, charging infrastructure, and content partnerships. He represented the brand at CES, TechCrunch Disrupt, Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, The Quail, and the LA Auto Show.
He then joined a pre-IPO EV brand as Executive Director of Global Go-to-Market, leading market entry across the US, China, Europe, and the Middle East. He developed the US direct sales and aftersales model, built partner networks across delivery, retail, mobile service, and charging, and directed the brand's first flagship experience center in prestigious Beverly Hills.
Today Jose Angelo advises through Angelo Consulting Group, working with brands at the intersection of automotive, AI, and consumer experience. He is particularly focused on how AI is reshaping the way automotive brands attract, convert, and retain customers, and how forward-thinking companies can build that capability into their core go-to-market motion from day one.
